ACP Group Hold Their Own In International Arena
The African Carribean Pacific group could be used as an element in defending its countries in the international scene says the ACP Secretary -General Jean-Robert Goulongana.
Mr Goulongana made the comment at the 3rd Summit of ACP Heads of State and Government meeting held in Denarau, Nadi.
It must be emphasized that this 3rd Summit is being held on the verge of major events on the world scene.
It could carry out an analysis or establish positions to be defended by the Group in international fora.
Consequently, it could map out what it considers of the global political, economic and financial situation, especially since the tragic events in the United States on 11 September 2001, Mr Goulongana said.
