Namibia Impressed With Local Tourism Industry
The Prime Minister of Namibia, Hon. Hage Geingob, today said he was impressed with Fijis tourism industry.
He made this comment during a courtesy call on his counterpart, Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase, at Denarau, Nadi this morning.
Mr. Qarase took this opportunity to inform his counterpart of the upcoming establishment of three five star hotels in the country, which, he said, will eventually be marketed as possible venues of major conferences not only for the Pacific region, but also for international conferences on the level of the ACP Summit.
Other issues discussed focused mainly on trading relations between the two countries.
ACP solidarity and unity was also discussed, and it was something that both leaders agreed to be the strength of the ACP group.
Mr. Geingob also informed Mr. Qarase of his intention of coming back to Fiji at a later date on a holiday.
