No:716 - MEDIA ACCREDITATION FORMS ON INTERNET

Media Organisations are encouraged to download Accreditation forms from the Internet, said the publicity officer for the ACP Conference Media Secretariat, Sakiusa Rokotakala.

Mr Rokotakala, has also suggested that the other option is to fill the forms and email them to srokotakala@info.gov.fj.

"Media Accreditation forms are up on the internet on www.acp.fiji.gov.fj," he said.

According to Mr Rokotakala accredited local reporters have expressed their intention to attend official functions and receive the same treatment as any other media personnel involved in the ACP Summit.

A media center that will provide relevant media services, will cater for the needs of the media during the conference and should accommodate the expected large number of overseas and local media who will give coverage to the event.

Efforts are being made to have the Fijian Ceremony of Welcome and the Official Opening televised live on Fiji One Television.

Radio Fiji stations will provide live coverage of the events.
